Richard and Madison spent five years in a long distance relationship before deciding to tie the knot. Richard was stationed in Alabama to train as a helicopter pilot while Madison lived in California, where they first met. Their engagement photos were taken in a sunny park, and it’s obvious that the two were glad to be in each other’s company. So how can you make a long distance relationship work? According to these pictures, you just need sweetness, constant communication and a sense of humor.
It’s always a good idea to include meaningful elements in an engagement photo shoot. To represent their long distance relationship, the couple posed with a tin can telephone, and they showed their love letters with Richard’s hat. Richard wore his military fatigues, and it’s clear that Madison loves this man in uniform. And she had fun wearing a pilot’s helmet! Why lollipops, you wonder? Because Richard’s last name, Dulce, means sweet. And these two are definitely that.
