Two years ago we were the first to offer “matching wed-sites and invites” by partnering with some fabulous boutique wedding stationery designers (Feterie, Izzy Girl, mmmPaper, Rock Paper Scissors, and Carciofi Design). Other wedding websites started to copy, but we kept pushing along with better usability and fresh designs from additional partners like Wedding Paper Divas and Offbeat Bride.
The response from our customers was wonderful, but…
We had a problem: there was no ability to scale. Each template required custom html and css design with hand editing of 200+ design variables. The templates looked great, but were expensive to build and a nightmare to browser test.
We created a solution: by building a simple and powerful web-based wysiwyg template building tool for stationery designers. Now stationery designers can apply for an affiliate account, and publish wedding website templates directly. The tool makes the process quick, painless, and fun.
We think we are really onto something here – everyone benefits tremendously.
Stationery designers all over the country (or world) can now reach customers earlier in the planning process than they would have access to otherwise (because brides buy wedding websites early on, whereas stationery is later in the planning process). They can also provide existing customers with a matching wedding website. Plus designers receive commissions on each one of their sites in use by a paying customer.
